In my media aesthetics class I'm learning about my personal creative process. The most recent project was to do a "reverse storyboard" on any movie. I love Disney movies, so naturally I picked the distinct animation of Tarzan. I found this to be a great exercise for story telling. It challenges you pick a few pivotal frames from the movie that can still convey the plot.

This class has taught me to pay attention to my creative process. We all go about creative thinking in different ways. I am finding out that I pull my inspiration from everything around me.

Inspiration for me can come from anywhere at anytime. I never know when something is going to "click". For example, sometimes ideas sparks from memories, but other times it's when I'm reading an article or watching a video. Creative thinking and brainstorming is my favorite part of creating. Creating mock ups and exploring possibilities excites me, especially when I see them come to life and be successful.
